On January 19, Dark Horse Comics is putting the spotlight on the life of the universe’s most mysterious chain smoker. Mass Effect fans will see if their trust or disdain for this character is justified in Dark Horse’s limited miniseries Mass Effect: Evolution. This story is penned by Mass Effect 2’s lead writer Mac Walters and has received the “canon” label. Dark Horse isn’t offering much in terms of plot points, but the product listing on Dark Horse’s website offers this small snippet: “[Mass Effect: Evolution] chronicles humanity’s first deadly days on the galactic stage and uncovers the pivotal role The Illusive Man played in it all!”
From the cover art above, we can also confirm that the Illusive Man purchased his belt/holster from the same store as Han Solo.

So much comic news today! Can’t wait for this as well. :D
EDIT: This was apparently announced at SDCC back in July. Not sure how I missed that news, or any of the subsequent news since, or why Game Informer is acting like the release date is news (a date that was announced in October by Dark Horse), but oh well. This is all news to me, haha.
